Stronger Gorilla Glass 2 from Corning

Last night at Pepcom’s Digital Experience! show at CES, Corning demonstrated its new Gorilla Glass 2.  This second generation glass has 20% more damage resistance than its predecessor, which has been used in millions of electronic devices; the improvement provides the opportunity for stronger and thinner glass surfaces.  According the The Verge, we can expect to see the new glass in products from Asus, Acer, LG, Sony and more.
